Hydro and meteo information distribution in realtime
Project realised on behalf of the Dutch Rijkswaterstaat en Belgian AWZ. Making use of an internet connection (mobile via GPRS) hydro and meteo information on 90 locations in Belgium and Holland can be accessed in realtime in a standard (Inland) ECDIS application.

Tresco and partners Noordersoft and Chartworx won the contract to build the first RIS in Europe. RIS Netherlands is the first implementation of River Information Services in Europe. This confirms the leading role of Tresco in the field of Inland Navigation in Europe.
