Periskal Mobile Transponder PM-1

The Periskal Mobile Transponder PM-1 is a black box transponder. It can be installed out of view of the skipper, the complete operation is done by the Periskal Inland ECDIS VIewer. The product is certified by BSH and German Federal Waterway Administration. It is the first transponder/software combination certified to be used in such a way. CERTIFICATE R-4-320

The connection between PC and transponder is done via UTP LAN. This type of connection is far more reliable than the Serial connection used by all other transponders.
