The consortium Periskal - RGO has won the tender Odra RIS in Poland

The consortium Periskal - RGO has won the tender Odra RIS in Poland for building a complete River Information Infrastructure in Poland on the Odra River.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Transport in Poland and the European Union.

The tender contains several parts like:

• Building a communication network alongside the river
• Building of a RIS centre in Szczecin
• Building of AIS Base stations infrastructure
• Inland ECDIS cartography of the Lower Odra river
• Infrastructure for Electronic Reporting and Notices to Skipper
• Tracking and Tracing Infrastructure and software for AIS

The project should be ready by the end of 2013.
